Claire

Hey, my name is Claire! I am a high school student that started volunteering at DEAH for my school’s co-op program as a veterinary technician assistant, and now I am currently working here part-time. I love all types of animals and I aspire for a career in the research field where I get to study exotic animals around the world. I have a passion for zoology, conservation, and evolutionary biology, and working here helps me gain important experience and knowledge for my future career and educational path. I have had an interest in animals for as long as I can remember and have always been surrounded by them. My best furry buddy is my grumpy, old dog named Nickel that our family adopted 7 years ago. 

My hobbies include reading, drawing, playing soccer, and making music with anything from my ukulele to taiko drums. I enjoy working with this amazing team and I always love learning about your pets and how I can help them!
