Alyson

Hello, I’m Alyson! I grew up in the small town of Alexandria, Ontario, about 5 hours east of Toronto. I moved to Brampton five years ago to attend college. 

From a young age, I knew I wanted to spend my life helping and caring for animals; I just wasn’t sure how to make it a career. It was only after completing a high school co-op at a local veterinary hospital that I realized that this was the job for me. 

From that point on, I worked towards my goal of becoming a registered veterinarian technician – completing the Animal Care Program, the Pre-Health program, and, finally, the Veterinarian Technician Program, all at Sheridan College. As part of my studies, I did my second-year field placement with Dundas Euclid Animal Hospital, and now I’m excited to say, having graduated, I get to work full time with the DEAH team. 

When I’m not working, you can find me spending time with my partner, Tyler, and my fur babies, Ellie and Minnie, who were rescues we adopted.
