Melanie

Hello there!! My name is Melanie and I’m the Practice Manager here at Dundas Euclid Animal Hospital. I have been with DEAH for more than 15 years and I wouldn’t want to be anywhere else. 

I’m the mom of a distinguished and quite handsome white and orange cat named OJ. He’s my main squeeze!! He really doesn’t really like it when I dress him up in bow ties or silly hats for photo sessions, but he knows it makes me happy, so he suffers through it and always gives me his best meow. I also was the mom of our clinic cat Fred who recently passed away. Fred was a sassy but yet sweet boy who depended on me as much as I depended on him. I miss him every day! 

I have lived in Toronto my entire life but one day I’d like to trade city living for the simple country life. When I’m not at work, I can be found cleaning or organizing random areas of my house, learning how to turn YouTube recipe tutorials into yummy masterpieces, scrolling through Netflix, or sitting outside birdwatching with OJ! 

I am also known as the “Portuguese Girl” so if you need a translator then look no further. I look forward to meeting you!
