Laser Therapy for Pets

Offering cold and hot laser therapy to pet patients to help treat acute and chronic injuries.

Through state-of-the-art technology, lasers are used to help treat tissue injuries and other conditions in pets. At Dundas Euclid Animal Clinic, we offer cold and hot laser therapy to our patients to help treat acute and chronic injuries and post-surgery recovery. If you want to know more about our services, you can give us a call at (416) 362-9696.

What is the difference between hot and cold laser therapy?

Cold laser therapy is a non-invasive method of therapy that uses light to stimulate cell regeneration and increase the circulation of blood. It is used to treat the surface of the skin.
Hot laser therapy is also non-invasive and is used to treat deeper tissues. This method generates thermal energy that penetrates the tissues to provide relief and relaxation.

What conditions can be treated using laser therapy?

Laser therapy effectively treats patients who have arthritis or other soft tissue injuries. It treats acute and chronic problems like sprains, strains, swelling, surgical wounds, and more. Laser therapy also promotes wound healing.

Can my pet tolerate laser therapy?

Many people worry their pets won’t tolerate laser therapy. However, most pets find it relaxing and enjoy it very much. Therapy sessions are often short, with no additional requirements such as sedation or fur removal, making it easier for pets to sit through the sessions.
