Dundas Euclid Animal Hospital REVIEWS
ALL REVIEWS WERE TAKEN FROM YELP. Thank you for all that wrote great reviews and keep on trusting the care of their pets to us here at Dundas Euclid Animal HospitalCeline S. (Toronto, ON) 5 out of 5 stars *****
Misiu and I have been clients with DEAH for about a year. She is now nearly one year and five months old. The doctors here have been patient and kind. They always follow up when She hasn't been well. The Vet Techs and Receptionists are also great. Misiu has had many visits, including a spay done here.
I fully trust them and I'm comfortable asking questions as they don't make me feel rushed. She always walks in with her tail wagging. We came here on a recommendation from a friend, and I'm glad we did. Misiu gives DEAH 2 paws up.Elizabeth Cabral (Toronto, ON) 5 out of 5 stars *****
I'm happy to say that I have been a client of Dundas Euclid Animal Hospital since it first opened. A friend of mine had originally recommended them when my other vet was retiring. Not only am I a Cat owner but also a Cat Rescuer and have always been impressed with the care and consideration my cats have been given, regardless of their temperament. My own cat Lincoln has been a bit of a medical challenge and Dr. Barrientos, Dr. Albarracin and the staff have been so wonderful in his treatment and fair in their prices.
As a Rescuer I am also involved with a lot of cats that lack socialization but are in need of medical attention. The staff's ability to handle these sometimes frightened or even aggressive felines is remarkable, especially Dejan; I like to call him the Cat Whisperer. Dejan has a way of soothing these cats to a point where they can be handled by the Vets.
Every time I come into the clinic with my cat, a stray/feral or picking up food I am always greeted with a smile...thanks Melanie!
Dundas Euclid is part of my family and I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for Excellent care of their beloved pets.

Dr. Baeiendos and his amazing crew took care of my Mickey for 5 years including their day care for him even though Mickey was the most difficult dog to take care off. They loved him as much as i did and took such good care Mickey always looked forward to seeing them every morning foe two years, there is no better hands to place your pet than the Dundas Euclid crew. Thank you all for what you have done for him and all the true love you gave him in his life.

As an animal lover I want the best care for my fur-babies. My experiences with DEAH have been nothing but exceptional. A couple of years ago my one cat became very ill. The 1st place I called wouldn't see him, the 2nd place said I should just put him down. At this point I was ready to surrender my cat to the Toronto Humane Society so that he could be given the care he deserved & needed. The thought of never seeing my little guy again broke my heart and in tears called DEAH hoping they could help where others wouldn't. I spoke with Melanie, she had me bring him in immediately. Dr. B & staff were so kind, caring and honest. They gave me all the facts clearly but instead of saying to put my cat down they said we are going to help him. And that is exactly what they did. Everyone at the clinic treated my cat with the love, care & concern that every pet owner wants. I didn't think that there was a vet out there who wasn't all about the money but there is & I thankfully found the one clinic that loves each & every one of their patients as the animal owners do. I'm eternally grateful for everything they have done for my pets. They have been nothing but kind & patient and they have found a client for life. If you love your fur-babies the best care you can give them would be the heartfelt love of each person at DEAH!

I have been going to this clinic pretty much since they opened.
The vet techs and office staff all make me feel very welcome and comfortable.
I mostly see Dr.B and I really trust his diagnosis and treatment suggestions. He considers the pet age and general health before jumping into extravagant treatments. I have never gotten the feeling he is trying to get me to spend unnecessarily.
I had surgery on my foot once and my cat also needed surgery but I couldn't get him there so Melissa came to my house an picked up Buddy and returned him later that day. That sort of kindness goes a really long way.
I'm glad I live in this neighbourhood.

My dog and I have been going to Dundas-Euclid Animal Hospital for about 4 years, since he was a puppy. It is a great clinic, with friendly and knowledgeable staff and a caring, clean environment. It's really nice to go to a vet where the staff knows your name and your pet and asks about how they are doing (while actually remembering issues they've had, etc.). I can honestly say that my dog likes going to the vet -- it can be hard to walk by without him turning to go in the door.
The technicians have been really helpful -- with a giant dog who doesn't always want to cooperate, they are always patient and fun and over the years my dog has gotten so comfortable with all of them.
The doctors are always willing to talk through the different treatment options, and they will take my questions seriously and explain any problems thoroughly. They helped us solve some gastrointestinal issues that my dog was having, and I thought the care they went to to call and follow up on his condition after certain episodes to be really comforting and helpful. Having a pet can be expensive, and I have found that Dundas-Euclid Animal Hospital has competitive rates and they also don't just suggest treatments for the sake of cost -- often help is just a phone call away, and (when appropriate) offer advice and caution before making you spend anything.
I would highly recommend this clinic to anyone in the area, and beyond. It is a great place to take your pet; they will be in great hands!Marisa Tavares (Toronto, ON) 5 out 5 stars *****
Dr. Barrientos has been our go-to vet for many years. My previous dog lived to the ripe old age of 19 and that could never could have happened without the help of everyone at Dundas Euclid Animal Hospital. Her last few years were full of medical issues that was expected with her age.
I was a mess but the staff was always willing to go above and beyond to make sure my Cutie was getting the best care available. Even if it meant calling me in the middle of the night with good news (lab results) just to ease my stress.
It was no surprise that when I got a new puppy (Winston) Dundas Euclid Animal Hospital was my pups first stop. Young or old your pet will be treated like part of the family. You can see it in their face... every animal that walks in the door brings on a smile to anyone sitting at that front desk and it is a domino effect for everyone else your pet will meet past the front door.
I will never go to another vet again.

I take both my cat and my dog to this vet and I've been very happy with their care. When my last cat got sick last year the doctor was very helpful and compassionate in helping us through the process. I think the care they receive is top-notch and I've always been very happy with it.

I have been going to Dundas Euclid Animal Clinic for over a decade and highly recommend it. The staff are caring and the care is thorough. They always talk me through the various expense options, and I don't feel they are just recommending the most expensive option. The doctors are patient as they help me decide just what is the best course of treatment in each case.
Over these years they have treated my 3 dogs through a few emergencies, and that's when I really felt taken care of. It was an emergency that brought me in the first time, and Dr. B took great care of us even though we were new and coming in with no notice.
They came out to the car to deliver a pain shot to my dog so we could get him to the hospital in comfort. They have called evenings and Sundays to check on the progress of a dog recovering at home. When I come in to pick up food or for something routine, the doctors and staff ask about the dogs and how everyone is. The technicians are gentle and caring.
I have always felt part of the family at Dundas Euclid and would never consider going anywhere else.Irene S. (Toronto, ON)
I've been a client here for the past 10 years and have always been impressed by the competency and honesty shown by all of the staff. On a recent visit with my cats for annual exams, it was discovered that one of my cats was on the verge of being diabetic but I am now happy to say that thanks to his new food, his diabetes is now under control. Thanks for taking such good care of my kitties!!

I currently take my dog and cat to this vet. The staff was friendlier than the last vet I went to and it's very clean. I do agree with "Blocks C." that it is quite expensive but I haven't found a vet who isn't. I believe it is about a $50 charge just to see the doctor and the bill can get very high depending on what your animal needs done. I also use the grooming service they have and it has been the best one so far and it's a reasonable price.

Totally disagree about the price. My dog has many medical issues and the doctors always take things one step at a time, one test at a time, walk me through the costs and work with my budget. In fact, I would say the clinic bends over backwards to work with their patients on price compared to other vets.
Dr. Barrientos and his team are amazing.
